Software Developer

Goodbye Kansas Studios is looking for a skilled & experienced software developer to join our office in Stockholm. You will help us develop and maintain the technological infrastructure to allow our artist to deliver top level projects ranging from AAA cinematics and in-engine cut-scenes to VFX and full cg animation for the film, tv and games industries. We believe you have a good understanding of the entire vfx pipeline but with a particular interest and understanding in the areas of FX, Rendering and Compositing.

Required Qualifications and Experience
·       BS/MS or equivalent knowledge and experience in Computer Science or related.
·       3+ years of applicable experience.
·       Technical knowledge of Houdini and/or Nuke and it’s APIs.
·       Good knowledge of Python and PySide / PyQt.
·       Knowledge of ftrack or similar asset management system.
·       Good knowledge of git.
·       Excellent problem solving skills.
·       Proactive approach to researching & adopting new tools and technologies
·       Experience of development in a Linux environment
·       Excellent communication skills and the desire to work in a team environment.

Desirable Experience
·       Rounded knowledge of all departments requirements and workflow (modeling / rigging, animation / lookdev / fx / rendering / compositing).
·       Basic knowledge of C++.
·       Good knowledge of databases.
