Support Service Engineers

Edgeware is growing fast and we need to further expand our support organization with new Service Engineers to serve new and existing customers across the globe. We plan to employ a number of engineers to be located in Stockholm, Central Europe, Mexico and the US.

We are looking for skilled engineers who enjoy customer interaction and who are challenged by trouble shooting in a complex environment. Experience from the TV / Media business is a benefit but not a requirement.

Tasks:
- Day-to-day service and support of Edgeware end-customers and partners globally as a member of the global services team.
- Give customer advice on how to use the Edgeware system, provide troubleshooting support and perform corrective activities when required
- Work in close cooperation with Solution Architects and R&D resources to find solutions to and solve customer issues
- Implementation work and training at customers? and partners? premises
- Actively contribute to our Customer satisfaction!

Qualifications:
University degree in Computer Science or Engineering
At least 3 years relevant work experience.
Good written and spoken English
Good analytic ability and problem solving capabilities
Outgoing personality with a customer focus and a genuine customer friendly attitude.

A thorough understanding of the following technologies:
Linux operating systems
IP network design and operation
Preferred additional qualifications in the following areas:
Streaming technologies, such as RTSP, HTTP, RTMP
Scripting languages, such as Python
Web technologies, such as HTML, PHP, Javascript, Silverlight, Flash
Database technologies, such as MySQL
Ability to manipulate network traces such as Wireshark and/or TCP dump.
