QA Engineer for Game Management System

About the Team
As a QA Engineer in Game Framework you will work in a dynamic cross-functional team where your role goes beyond ‘just testing’. Focus will lie on improving and building quality into the products as early as possible. The team consists of two front end developers, three back end developers, an Agile Team Coach and an Agile Product Owner, working with a Game Information Management system.

About the Role
You will be the first QA Engineer in the team and thereby introducing and reinforcing the quality assurance aspect of a product development team that is newly created. This means working with hands-on testing as well as automation.

You will be responsible for analyzing the quality assurance need in the team, developing and deploying a test strategy including test automation. Together with the team, you will select appropriate framework and/or tool for test automation as well as being responsible for this area within the team.

About You
To succeed in this role, we believe you have more than 3 years’ experience as a technical tester. You possess knowledge about client-server applications as well as their architecture. You are result and quality oriented team player and are not afraid to take the lead.

Experience in test automation – Creation and deployment of automation frameworks and scripts
Familiarity with web based client-server applications using RESTful APIs and their architecture
Experience in different test automation tools and techniques
Experience and/or interest in the Information management area
Familiarity of programming/scripting using Python and JavaScript
Experience in having a Test Lead role or similar is a plus
