SW Function Implementation Engineer - Engine Control

Volvo Cars Engine Control Group, responsible for Start and Emission Control Petrol Engines is in an expansive phase and therefore need strengthen our team. With us, you will get advanced engineering tasks that challenge you to continue your technical and personal development.

As a SW Function Implementation Engineer, you will be a key contributor to our Engine Control SW development that right now is in an expansive phase due to transition to in-house SW development. You will work in close cooperation with our Senior SW function developers and will be responsible to ensure good SW quality. You have the ability to plan your work individually and have a variety of different work tasks related to SW implementation and SW testing.

Main responsibilities 
* Implement engine control SW functions in the engine SW control platform
* Contribute to technical improvements in the control software
* Perform SW tests at bench as well as in vehicle
* Analyse and conclude test results
* Be centre of excellence within the group regarding SW implementation and SW structure issues

Required qualifications
* Technical university or equivalent experience (field Math/Physics/Computer Science or similar)
* Experience from Matlab
* Experience from Simulink and QTronics Silver/TestWeaver is meritorious
* Driving license B
