Senior frontend engineer for world leading video distribution solution

Hive Streaming is looking for a senior frontend engineer willing to explore new possibilities using the latest design methods and frameworks.

You will be joining our team of highly skilled and passionate engineers creating the next generation of data-rich web applications and interfaces around our world leading enterprise video streaming solution.

In your work, you will:

• Design and develop web applications in JavaScript, HTML and CSS
• Help improve usability and user interface design
• Participate in continuously improving our frontend technologies
• Be part of shaping Hive's future products

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

You will enjoy this role if

• You are passionate about frontend engineering and interested in designing state-of-the-art web applications and interfaces
• You are an expert in JavaScript's fundamental concepts and design patterns
• You have extensive experience with popular JavaScript build tools, MV* frameworks and enjoy staying up to date with the constantly changing JavaScript ecosystem
• You thrive working in an agile, innovative environment and you are eager to take on responsibilities
• Projects and portfolios to demonstrate that you are well versed in JavaScript, HTML working and CSS
• Working experience with JavaScript MV* frameworks such as AngularJS
• You enjoy teaching others what you know
• You have a degree in computer science or similar
• You have strong communication skills, with a passion for finding and sharing best practices
• You are fluent in English

It is a bonus if you have:

• Knowledge and experience on Typescript, data visualization, D3.js
