Software Verification Engineer

The Software Verification Engineer takes an overall leadership role for the development and maintenance of the test framework and its system test suite. The responsibilities include analyzing requirements, develop and maintain software for automatic tests and software verification of the short range radio modules.
You are a part of the software team who designs, develops and verifies software for short range radio modules, mainly Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, to make IoT become a reality. We work in small, agile teams and strive to constantly improve the way we work with our development and verification process.
We believe that you are a versatile person with at least 3-5 years working experience of verification within embedded software projects and having a genuine interest in technology. You have a drive and desire to automate everything. There will be opportunities to utilize a wide range of skills such as troubleshooting, scripting, performance optimization, prototyping, analyzing test and code coverage and much more.

Primary Tasks

Software development in C# for tools and tests
Design test cases
Overall responsibility for the test framework
Automating manual test cases
Analyze test coverage
Prototyping and debugging of test system
Provide input for and review specifications, user guides and release notes
Exploratory testing
Assisting during release testing and customer support cases

Requirements

MS or BS in engineering with a focus on system verification and/or software development
C# programming in a Windows environment
Genuine interest in test and quality
Team player but can work independently
Great communication skills
Knowledge about MS Visual Studio
Wireless knowledge in general and Bluetooth and/or WLAN knowledge in particular is an advantage
GIT and SVN knowledge is an advantage
Experience with hardware farming is an advantage
Linux experience is an advantage
Good English and Swedish skills
Holder of a valid Swedish work permit
