IT Support Engineer for Client and Business Side

About the Role
You will be solving any and all client or business side issues. The issues range from database errors to data corruption, cleaning, pre-processing or post processing data. Most files will be big unstructured language data files. Thus, the need for native English skills. In addition, you will have to be able to do client presentations to explain the technologies and how, what, why the solutions you choose are the best. In addition, support the business side with coding and prototyping and creating applications that increase productivity. Your role is critical for Gavagai’s product roll out.

Necessary abilities
• Analytics with Python •
• Apache Cassandra Database
• SPSS
• Business Intelligence tools; Tableu or Qlik or Numpy or similar
• Advanced Excel: VBA, pivots, and so on •
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of the North American Market
• Presentation abilities
• Experience with Gavagai Explorer, Gavagai Monitor, Gavagai V3 API

Preferable abilities
• Knowledge of Unix
• Familiarity with Machine Learning Solutions
