UCG 110801 Devops Engineer

Your task:
- devops engineer, familiar with CI/CD for software development

Education/training
Our roles requires a basic technical education, sometimes university level.

Experience
We require at least 3 years of relevant job experience for all roles, mostly more.

Required experience for this role:
• Experienced SW developer with experience of Continuous Integration/Development
• Able to wear multiple hats, do what it takes ability and attitude
• Good working knowledge of git and GitHub
• Hands-on experience from automation work, including tools like Jenkins, python, bash
• Programming and design skills, preferably in Java/Scala and JavaScript
• Experience from using and debugging scalable, reliable, distributed linux/Hadoop-based systems
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Work language: English

Wanted competence
- Swedish
• Experience from using / developing for the Hadoop ecosystem
• Knowledge about pipeline/workflow technologies, such as Oozie, Azkaban
• Kafka
• Experience in information retrieval and storage or machine learning
• NoSQL Databases
• Experience with GIS, Geographical Data and Toolkits such as JTS, ArcGIS, QGIS, OpenJump

The Consultant roll
As a consultant you may be placed at different customers. UCG will assist with extra training when needed. As a consultant we need you to be flexible and to easily adapt to a new environment.
