Art Director for Toca Life

What you will be doing:
- Produce concepts and provide and align art direction within the Toca Life series.
- Set visual style and quality of the graphical assets.
- Work hands-on to produce graphics for the app.
- Express and communicate your ideas and visions.
- Ensure together with the project team members that the art direction fits with the overall project goals.
- Lead/support artists in setting daily tasks, milestones, syncs, feedback and direction.
- Co-create marketing concepts together with the marketing specialists to contribute to cohesive branding.

- You'll work with a team of artists and developers that come to the office excited to learn new things everyday.
- We work in small teams of 6–10 people, which means everyone is an important contributor in the project and has a shared responsibility for what the toy becomes.
- You’ll work collaboratively with other teams, such as our Collections and Marketing teams.

In order to be able to create more world-class digital toys we're looking to expand our team in Stockholm with an experienced art director for the Toca Life series. You will work together with play designers, artists and developers in producing new digital toys. At Toca Boca our art directors have great creative freedom and responsibility for the final product. You will be the one leading, creating and producing the art together in collaboration with other team members. Your influence on the next Toca Boca app will be immense.

We are looking for an art director who:
- loves toys and games.
- has a unique personal style aligned with Toca Boca’s visual language.
- has created appealing characters and captivating environments.
- is a stellar illustrator with great imagination.
- has created great interactive experiences.
- pays attention to detail, is curious and takes pride in their work.
- enjoys working together with developers to find technical solutions to graphical problems.
- has solid skills in one or more of the following: Unity, Maya, Illustrator and Photoshop.
- is a motivated team player.
- is fluent in written and spoken English.

This position is full time and based in our Stockholm office. We apply 6 months probationary employment.
