Principal Software Engineer

The role entails responsibilities such as:

-Working closely with Business Leadership to ensure a thorough understanding of product and solution requirements
-Lead design of product road map features, functionality and maintain excising codebase in an environment handling large volumes of data and demands for high availability
-Working with together with customer as a technical expert
-Involvement in the implementation stage of the development life cycle
-Contribute to the review of design documentation, code and test strategies
-Act as Technical Lead for the engineering team
-Ability to perform key roles within the Agile methodology
-Adopting a holistic view of the entire system layout and configuration
-Reviewing business requirements and software design specifications

Education, Professional accomplishments, and Certifications:

In order to do all this successfully you must have experience and understanding of how to manage a customer in a professional way and on the other side have a broad technical background and understand the technology! You should have approx. 15 years of software development (particularly in Java) and experience from large distributed high availability systems. Experience of financial industry would be a merit.

As a person, you have good social skills and like to interact with customers, both internally and externally. You also are proficient in motivating and leading an agile team in a matrix organization. Furthermore, you should have strong problem solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. We also expect that your English would be fluent, both written and verbal.
