PLM Solutions (Product Lifecycle Management) is responsible for maintaining and supporting the PLM environment for almost all divisions within the Mining and Rock Excavation Technique business area (MR), as well as providing continued enhancements and new functionality based on business demands. The main PLM applications are Teamcenter, Creo and AutoCAD Electrical, which cover both the R&D and Production functions, which are growing. Globally, we currently have more than 2 300 users using our applications in time zones from Japan to the US.

The PLM Operations group, as a part of PLM Solutions, is responsible for providing a stable and reliable PLM environment together with effective training and support for the business. PLM Operations is responsible for high quality standardized system maintenance, as well as increase the PLM end-users productivity. The PLM Operations group contains of a PLM Support Team and a Maintenance & Quality Team.

Due to the steady increase in demand for PLM Solutions’ support and delivery, we are now strengthening the PLM Support team with long-term resources to build, develop and keep competence, as well as ensuring the quality of our systems. We are now looking for a Teamcenter developer to be a part of the PLM Support team, mainly working with the maintenance of our production environment.

Role description

-As a Teamcenter developer in the PLM Support team, you will provide global 3rd line support to our end-users with focus on bug fixes and maintenance activities.

-As part of the team, you will work with the monitoring and reviewing of system performance, data volumes, and system usages as well as access reviews.

-You can initiate as well as propose system and method improvements in addition to participating in said development projects.

-You will run predefined functional tests on staging and production environments, after maintenance windows and unexpected disruptions. Deployment to staging and production environment is also a big part of this role.

Education and Experience requirements

You have a Bachelor or Master degree with good English skills, both in writing and verbally. You need to have proven system and/or method experience, as well as support experience. It is also required to have proven Teamcenter development experience. Furthermore, you are an experienced user of the following tools:

- C++
- JAVA
- SQL Database
- Scripting qualification and general software skills, such as SCM/Git
