Data Warehouse Service Manager

The Data & Integration Services (D&IS) is a sub-unit within the Shared Service Center (SSC), and belong to Services, Development & Operation Department, Group IT. The SSC department delivers cross functional Enterprise solutions and services with optimal Cost of ownership for efficient business execution. Our mission is to secure quality, maintainability and sustainability for Enterprise solutions by being the preferred IT business partner. Within the D&IS group, we delivers the solutions and services within the field of for Data & Information management and Integration Services. The services included are Enterprise Data Warehouse (VDW), with its related field such as Master Data Management, Data Sourcing, Information management etc. as well as operation, support and maintenance of Middleware services. Our group is under its extensive and exiting journey with many interesting areas to come. The D&IS group objective is to Empower through Information. We bring data, turn it to information and enable decision making possible. We enable exchange of data & Information to its receivers.
As a Volvo Data Warehouse Service Manager, you will lead a team of high integrity and dedicated people for the Data Warehouse Services including its surrounded environments. VDW is appointed to be a critical strategic component in Group IT architecture and business landscape, supplying applications cross functionally. Your primary responsibility is to lead and ensure the VDW services is managed according to Group ITs strategy. You will ensure the daily operation, maintenance and supports of VDW services is well-managed and bring value to our business customers. In your roll, you will also secure the maintainability of the VDW related projects. The role has no employee managerial responsibility but will manage the resources both local and global team.
Main responsibilities
* Ensure the daily operation, maintenance and support of the services in a lean and effective way that bring value to the customers
* Secure the services deliver are according to business demands and agreed Service Level Agreement (SLA) as well as Operation Level Agreements (OLA)
* Lead the VDW team to optimize the service delivery including resource planning, life cycle, capacity, change management etc
* Secure that delivery from VDW projects are maintainable and follow the VDW standards and requirements according to the principle of Data Warehouse and Group IT Project methodology
* Manage the procurement, license, contract and suppliers
* Ensure the service development towards the Data & Integration
* Services' strategy and the principle of Data Warehouse
Required qualifications
* IT University degree or equivalent working experience
* Strong experience of Service management area
* ITIL knowledge and skills
* Documented leadership experience
* Fluent in English (written and spoken)
* Good knowledge in an overall Data Warehouse, Business intelligence is meritorious
