Would you like to help influence how our powertrain feels in the future?

Powertrain Control Strategy is responsible for adapting the powertrain for the least possible fuel consumption and optimal driveability and performance. It also involves responsibility for the control systems for the powertrain and a lot of driving time in vehicles. Development involves all types of Scania powertrains and vehicles, e.g. trucks, buses, hybrid and self-driving vehicles.

You now have an opportunity to take on a stimulating and challenging position that will see you work on driveability and calibration of powertrain functions. That work will involve existing powertrains, hybrid powertrains and powertrains that will be conventional in the future.
In addition to challenging, interesting tasks, you will also have the chance to work alongside very skilled engineers.

Your duties
Helping our function developers to run and assess new and existing functions
Being a member of our development teams as a driveability expert and contributing with your ideas
Calibrating our functions for the best possible customer experience
Developing our approaches to work within calibration and driveability

Your profile
You will be motivated and have a BSc or MSc in Engineering with general knowledge of the complete vehicle, with a specific focus on powertrains. You will have significant experience of driving trucks and be skilled at expressing and clarifying your opinions. You are a critical person with a focus on details. Experience within Matlab/Simulink would be an advantage.

You will be committed, curious and interested and have the ability/desire to come up with new ideas and deliver results. You will enjoy working with other people and be driven by an inspiring and creative atmosphere, surrounded by lots of talented colleagues. Good written and spoken Swedish and English is essential.

A bus licence would be an advantage, but a CE licence is a requirement.
