About the job As a Cobol Developer you will work in the international cross-functional Agile team and be responsible for development and maintenance activities within Payments domain.

You will play a key role in delivering application changes, resolving incidents, identifying and implementing preventive actions.

You are expected to independently read, write and improve Cobol code in compliance with specifications. You will do this by applying standard programming methods and best practices, following guidelines and processes regarding programming, design, system integration, version control, test, documentation, code review, security.

You need to be able to read, understand and interpret complex business or technical subjects and be capable to discuss or explain this data to other stakeholders, either from business or IT.

What you need to succeed To excel in this role, you will need:

Experience in IBM Mainframe platform
Hands-on working experience of application development and/or maintenance
Experience in Cobol programming language
Knowledge of DB2 SQL databases
Knowledge of JCL/OPC
Availability to be on-call
Good spoken and written English language skills
Permit to work in Sweden

Also, it is a plus if you have:

Knowledge in Banking systems or Payments domain
Knowledge of IBM DB2 pureXML
Agile way of working
ITIL certification or experience
Swedish language skills
