Software Developer with devOps skills

Hello Skilled Developers,

We’re looking to expand our team with a new member that, besides from writing code, also love the operations bit of product development. In our small dev team, we do (almost) everything ourselves. From wire-framing and prototyping to maintenance, hosting and support.

Meetio is a Malmö based software developer fully committed to improving the workplace and meeting culture for our customers. Meetio develops software that bridge the gap between the digital calendar and physical workspace to better utilize meeting rooms and increase personal productivity. We are a tightly knit team, steering a self-funded and profitable startup in an inspiring incubator environment. Although based in Sweden, Meetio has customers all over the world and as we’re scaling our operations in Sweden we’re also looking to increase international presence drastically. YOUR ROLE IN THE TEAM

You will be our number one when it comes to everything devops. Your main responsibilities will be to continuously improve our server architecture, hosting environment, build environment and deployment process. Basically all the tools and processes that comes with developing and hosting great software. With this responsibility also comes great freedom. You’re the expert and it’s you who know how to best achieve this! If you prefer to write code as well, we’ll make sure there’s plenty of time for that too!

If you have a special interest or experience in any of the following areas, we’d love to meet you!

- Architecture (software, services or APIs)
- Continuous integration and continuous delivery
- Server environments and SaaS-hosting
- Metrics and monitoring
- Deployment

Some relevant buzzwords that you’ll come across include Android, iOS, node, mySQL, mongoDB, php, vue.js, TeamCity, laravel, socketIO and Docker.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

You have probably worked as a developer for a couple of years already and are now seeking a new challenge. As a developer you enjoy all things code, but you also have a specific interest for the devops world. Writing build scripts, auto-scaling servers or getting your hands dirty with reverse proxy configurations all sounds like good fun to you.

Doing the same thing twice isn’t really your thing. If a task can be automated it should! You’re a language agnostic and don’t really care if you’re currently writing java, ruby or a bash script. You’re pragmatic and you like to get things done.

Although you may or may not have worked at a startup before, it’s something you feel excited about doing. We take great pride in working closely together as a team and helping each other out, and you do too.
