We are looking for an all-round Artist to join one of our production teams on a 1 year fixed contract, starting February 5th, 2018. This position is on a small team, and the successful candidate will have a wide variety of game-related art skills. You will work closely with the Creative Director and Design team to conceptualise, refine and create various in-game assets, UI elements and characters. Ideally you will have some experience of rigging and animation, however this is not a requirement.

Main responsibilities:

• Concepting 2D and 3D elements, such as UI, character and in-game assets
• Creating production-quality UI, character and in-game assets
• Working closely with the Creative Director
• Provide ideas and feedback on new and existing assets
• Support Design with ad hoc requirements

Start Date: February 5th, 2018
Employment type: 1 year fixed contract.

As a person you have a passion for making quality games. You have experience of being an art generalist on a close-knit, fast-moving project and are not afraid of taking part in discussions outside your area of expertise. You enjoy learning new things and finding ways to improve your work. As we work on a strong iterative basis, you enjoy receiving quality feedback on your work, and also providing useful, intelligent feedback on others’ work.

As a person you have a passion for making quality games. Whilst we work very hard here, we still try to keep things fun and laid-back – so it’s also good if you enjoy a fika and a chat with your wonderful colleagues.

You have:

• Excellent Maya modelling and texturing skills
• Excellent Photoshop skills
• Knowledge of Unreal and its blueprint system
• 3+ years in the game industry
• Excellent communication skills, and the ability to take feedback positively
• Fluent in English
• Ability to relocate and work onsite at our office in Malmö, Sweden

It´s nice if you have:

• Experience and knowledge of animation and rigging
• Houdini experience
• Knowledge of Swedish
