Generating sales is at the very core of every online store, regardless of size. Releware is Jetshops SaaS solution designed to address this by intelligent product recommendations using advanced behavioural targeting algorithms to build relevant personalized recommendations. This drives more internal traffic and generates more sales for e-commerce sites.

:: Description ::

We?re looking for talented software engineers to help us develop our recommendations and retargeting engine even further. You will have the opportunity to work in a small, highly motivated and talented team with kick ass applications written mainly in Ruby on Rails but with touches of Coffescript, Javascript, SQL, Pig & Hive. You should be a strong generalist who?s passionate about development tools, techniques and methodologies.

:: Responsibilities ::

- Design and build new features that help e-­commerce sites grow their business by intelligent product recommendations.

- Crunching big data into behaviour targeting algorithms and serve them by autoscaling and high available API?s.

- Produce high quality software that is unit and system tested, code reviewed, and checked in regularly for continuous integration.

:: Skills & Requirements ::

- Masters degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience

- Fluency in an OOP language, such as Ruby, Python, Java or similar (Ruby strongly preferred)

- Solid foundation in data structures, algorithms and complexity analysis

- Minimum 2 years experience in software design techniques, Test­Driven Development and distributed architectures

- Experience with Amazon Web Services ecosystem is a big plus

- Solid understanding of the world of big data, hadoop, pig & hive

- You?re smart, get stuff done, have great energy, and thrive in a fast paced environment
