Network Administrator to ORC

As a Network Administrator in The Managed Services team in Stockholm you will be responsible for the implementation, change and growth of the network infrastructure used by client?s trading systems playing a key role in providing a high quality business critical service. This involves planned change, technical trouble shooting, performance and latency analysis, infrastructure design, provisioning and monitoring. Your main focus will be to maintain a high performing, stable and reliable environment for our client?s and at the same time be responsive to address and solve problems. The challenge is to achieve the goals at the same time adopt to new requirements in an agile way.

YOUR ROLE WILL INCLUDE:

* Work closely with other Service teams
* Manage vendor relationships
* Involvement in projects such as new customer implementations, datacenter relocations and exchange upgrades
* Long-term infrastructure planning
* Troubleshooting, network-related change management
* Network latency and performance optimization
* Network access provisioning and monitoring.

THE PERSON WE ARE LOOKING FOR...
...has a genuine driving force and is self-motivated. You like to take on responsibility and are a fast-learner who enjoy working in a team. You should have a minimum of five years proven experience as network administrator. You appreciate quality and good documentation. You are self-motivated and prepared to take ownership in shaping the future of our network. You work well under stress. This role requires you to work occasional evenings or weekends.

DESIRABLE SKILLS:

* Expert in TCP/IP session handling, routing and switching;
IPv4, VLAN, 802.1q, Rapid Spanning-Tree, Etherchannel, UDLD, IGMP, VRF, OSPF, BGP, VRRP, PIM-SM.
* Knowledge in AAA ( Tacacs), SNMP, Syslog, NTP
* Has good firewall knowledge, Checkpoint and Cisco, VPN/IPsec
* Broad knowledge in network industry standards. ITIL knowledge is beneficial.
* Experience in tools and utilities such as wireshark, tcpdump and monitoring
* Has experience from working with and putting requirements on external vendors such as hardware, data center and telecom vendors.
* Understands the special needs of managing a real-time mission critical network environment for the financial industry.
* Has experience from building and managing scalable network solutions.
* If you have previous experience from financial industry and exchange protocols/connectivity, it?s beneficial, but not a requirement.
