System Tester to Digital Banking Engineering in Sweden, Stockholm

We are looking for a skilled System Testers experienced in large-scale agile projects to join the Shared QA Services in Digital Banking Engineering at Nordea.
 
Digital Banking Engineering (DBE) is a unit in Digital Banking, which is accountable for developing new state-of-the-art digital solutions to our customers, maintaining existing digital solutions and operating underlying IT platforms and applications.

  The position we offer

As a System Tester in DBE you will play an important part in implementing and ensuring quality assurance in dozens of business critical applications across the organization. You will be a part of a global team in Oslo, with colleagues in the Nordic countries – primarily in Helsinki, Stockholm, Oulu and Copenhagen.
 
You will, among other important tasks:
 
- Review and analyse business requirements and system designs  
- Design and create test cases and execute tests on component, integration and system level  
- Report defects and help developers with the debugging when needed  
 
It’s an advantage if you also have experience in creating and maintaining automated tests as well (e.g. Cucumber/Java).  
 
  The qualifications you need

You are highly experienced in testing and quality assurance methodologies, test tools and best practices. The role requires a profound knowledge and understanding of agile software development and you have already worked with software testing for several years.
 
You have a high level of technical skills in various IT environments as our system portfolio consists of infrastructure applications running in a very complex environment on mainframes, UNIX and Windows. On top of that, you also have adequate knowledge of web related technologies (Web applications, Web Services and Service Oriented Architectures) and front end solutions (e.g. applications on iOS/Android).
 
You enjoy working in a high-performing team and due to our international and cross-country environments; you are open to limited travel within the Nordic region.
 
Further to this, we believe that you:
 
- Have a good understanding of system test of complex systems (banking domains is a major advantage too and general knowledge of Netbank and Mobile banking applications)  
- Are systematic and have strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment  
- Enjoy taking responsibility and you are able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines  
- Are a strong driver and a team player  
- Are a fast learner and a problem solver with an optimistic approach to challenges  
- Hold a Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science or related field, or have equivalent work experience  
- Are friendly and outgoing with excellent communication skills  
- Are fluent in English (both spoken and written language) and Swedish
- Are ISTQB certified
