Android Framework Developer

We are looking for a skilled software/app developer with deep knowledge in the Google Android OS/framework to Mobility R&D department in Gothenburg. You will be working with our smart phone for healthcare Ascom Myco 2. You will be part of an agile team with software developers, interaction designers, technical writers and test engineers. Small enough to make friends with the whole team and big enough to make a difference.  
 
Work tasks Software/app development in Android based smartphone.   Modifications in the Android OS/framework (when needed to create additional value).   Coding is the essential part but understanding our customers’ needs and quality assurance is equality important.   Cooperation with international partners.      
Qualifications   Bachelor of Science, Master of Science or equivalent.   Fluent in Swedish and English, speech and writing.   Experience/knowledge in the Android OS/framework.   At least two years’ working experience in Android native app development.   Very good understanding of Java and programming concepts such as multi-threading, MVP, unit testing, layered architecture and patterns.  
Meritorious  
Working experience in:   GIT/Gerrit   JIRA   Embedded Linux   Open source   AOSP   Google GMS   CTS/GTS   SDK extension->add-on development   Medical Device Software (IEC 62304)   Jenkins   Telecom   SIP   Stack overflow   Agile/Scrum  
We are looking for a senior software developer with more than 5 years’ experience. You are used to working with native application development in Android but also have a deep knowledge in the Google Android OS/framework (architecture, message passing, libraries etc.) You have been part of new designs as well as debugging of complex problems. It is meritorious if you have been working with GIT/Gerrit, Embedded Linux and Open source.
