Algorithm Developer

You will work together with other skilled developers and researchers developing algorithms for antibiotic susceptibility testing, and have the responsibility for developing and maintaining an automatic workflow for analysis and result evaluation of large sets of image data.
The work will be conducted in a cross functional team of software developers and biologist applying agile development principles.

Q-linea is looking for software algorithm developer for our AST analysis platform.
You will work with development and evaluation of algorithms for antibiotic susceptibility testing in a highly cross functional environment, working in tight collaboration with both our software and microbiology teams. Further, the position will involve responsibility for setting up and maintaining a framework for automatic analysis and result evaluation of large sets of data.

The position requires experience of and profound interest in software algorithms for image analysis and data processing.
Since a lot of the work will be done in the interface between computer science and microbiology, the ability to communicate with persons with different scientific background is necessary.

Required competences:
• Education in the field of software development.
• Knowledge of algorithms related to image analysis and data processing
• Experience of Matlab/Octave programming
• Ability to work in highly cross functional teams
Meriting competences
• Experience of C# and Python programming
• Experience of working in an agile development environment
