Job Description

We are looking for a talented and passionate .NET Software Engineer. You will work in an experienced development team to create great new user experiences for our customers. Your focus will be to greatly enhance and innovate user services that comes as a part of buying or owning a Volvo Cars. The work is situated in our new offices close to Gothenburg City in Gamlestaden.

Responsibilities
* Design and build applications for our web platform
* Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
* Collaborate with a team to define, design, and ship new features
* Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
* Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
* Real passion for software engineering and best practices
* Recommend and lead the implementation of practices such as TDD, CI, CD
Skills

* Expert .NET skills
* Knowledge of other web technologies and UI/UX standards
* Extensive hands-on development and delivery experience with a broad mix of languages and technologies
* Real passion for software engineering and best practices
* Great Object Oriented coding practices, including strong design patterns knowledge, refactoring, Clean Code, Domain Driven Design and enterprise integration
* In-depth knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript including responsive web design
* Experience working with Agile, Lean and/or Continuous Delivery approaches
* Extensive hands-on development and delivery experience with a broad mix of languages and technologies, including C#
* Passion for technical and team leadership and a willingness to mentor and work with developers at all levels of experience
* Recommend and lead the implementation of practices such as TDD, CI, CD
