Job description
In the role as a Project Manager you will be managing a team of software developers, who are working according to the agile Scrum or Kanban methodologies. It is important to develop this team as well as creating good relations with our customers. To meet our customers’ requirements, we believe that customer visits is a vital part of your job. All the development is done in C++ on Linux.
In the LHD Application team you will be joining one of our automation teams that are responsible for the autonomous control of underground loaders and trucks.
In the SED Application team you will be one of three project managers responsible for the development and support of the control system for surface drill rigs.
Knowledge and experience
We are looking for individuals with a B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Computer Science. Furthermore, you have extensive experience in software development and project managing as well as experience in agile software development. Autonomous robotics is preferable for the role in LHD Applications and meritorious for the role in SED Applications. You need strong English skills both verbally and in writing, as English is essential to communicate with both internal and external contacts.
In these two roles, leadership qualities and experiences are essential and vital for the future success of your team. Therefore, you must have the ability and interest to develop a strong, competent and sustainable team. You are focused on results and stimulated by a dynamic and international environment.
Personality
To succeed as a Project Manager, you should be passionate about programming. You are a creative and driven person who like’s new challenges. We are looking for a team player with the desire to contribute, learn new things and improve alongside our colleagues. As a leader, you must have a lot of ideas, drive, a positive attitude and be able to inspire you team.
