IT within Scania is currently undergoing a very exciting change toward Agile methods and high-performance development teams. Now is the perfect time to join this exciting journey.

Do you have a passion for software development and for agile culture and ways of working? Then maybe this could be the right challenge for you. We are now looking a skilled .NET developer to further strengthen our development teams within department Product Development IT, responsible for delivering IT to Scania’s product development process.

Your role
We can offer you a role as a member of a development team where you will be working with a principal focus on development deliverables, system requirements, testing, support and release management. You will adopt an agile approach to work, with technical variation and customer/business contact at a company with a good working environment.
  
Your profile
We are looking for someone with a degree in IT or equivalent experience, complemented with a minimum of 3-5 year’s developing experience in .NET and a significant interest in IT and Agile methods. Experience working with cloud services such as AWS is meritorious.

We also think you have:

An interest in building reusable and modular IT solutions
Good knowledge of .NET and Microsoft-like products (e.g. C#, MVC, TFS, SQL server)
The commitment and motivation to work with others to deliver, simplify and improve
Good knowledge of JavaScript and AngularJS
Experience of agile teams that worked with SCRUM or KANBAN
Knowledge of writing unit tests using TDD
As the corporate language is English, you need to be proficient in written and spoken English.

To be successful in this role you will also need to have good communication skills and feel comfortable working closely with several parties within the business. You are a team player, but are also capable of working independently.
