PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
We are developing propulsion systems for customers worldwide. The main purpose of the Control architect is to deliver control software and to handle requirements for projects. The Control Architect will also sets the concept, requirements and design for the propulsion control system.

The control architect will also be is an important part of the engineering team, will and is technically responsible for the propulsion software. He/she offers technical support to others offer technical support and leads for the a project team of software engineers. Will be handling and delivering complex projects for customers worldwide.

YOUR ROLE
- Design control software for propulsion systems in order projects & products;
- Implement, document, test & validate control software solutions;
- Requirement discussion with customer and Design Control software systems & solutions in order projects & products;
- Implement, Document, test & Validate Control Software Solutions in order projects & products;
- Provide expert support, Lead complex error investigations and provide problem solutions for propulsion systems;
- Educate field personnel, support power lab tests, commissioning & homologation of propulsion systems;
- Handle source code, configuration management, packaging & releases of software solutions;

- Education: PhD or Master degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Engineering Physics or equivalent;
- Minimum 3 5 years in SW development and real-time systems (defining and implementing systems);
- Solid understanding of and capability to setup and maintain SW architectures;
- Solid understanding of Real time systems, Embedded systems, Data communication;
- Good ability to understand electrical systems which the software controls;
- Good ability to both read and write technical documentation;
- Good requirements management;
- Problem solving skills, team player, good communication skills;
- Good ability to lead a team of software engineers;
- Good knowledge in programming in C and C++;
- Knowledge about model based design is beneficial;
- Experience from MATLAB/Simulink or similar graphical modelling, simulation and code generation tools is beneficial;
- Experience from safety critical applications and/or EN50126/28/29 (or other related standards such as ISO26262, IEC61508 etc) is beneficial;
- Experience from MATLAB/Simulink or similar graphical modelling, simulation and code generation tools is beneficial;
- Fluent in English and preferably in Swedish.
