Java developer at Leeroy

Your role has two parts: Continuously developing the on-site POS solution and second: help us figure out the smartest way to populate our cloud from said on-site installation in order to achieve a great reporting UX together with your front-end colleague. There will be multiple external service integrations and customer insight analysis is important too. The system will integrate mainly with the current product suite on-site. You will work to create highly modern solutions and services, and strive to do it fast and efficiently in an Agile CI-focused manner.

Your qualifications:
• High level experience in Java in general, version 8.
• Knowing the ins and outs of Java SE
• High level experience in Spring framework, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Spring Integration.
• High level experience in Maven, Gradle, Git
• Experience in AWS, EC2, S3, Elastic Beanstalk
• Experience in Unit testing / Integration testing
• Experience in building RESTful web services (with Spring MVC), preferably also within other frameworks as well (for example, Play, Vert.x, Restlet)
• Experience in OAuth2 is a plus, understanding Spring Security.
• Experience in Payment handling is a plus
• Frontend development skills are a plus, Bootstrap + Javascript frameworks (for example Angular, React, Vue, Ember)
• DevOps attitude, we are not only developers, we also run the service
• High problem solving skills
• High level understanding of creating maintainable solutions, with good design.
• Understanding patterns of reusable code and object oriented design patterns
