Firmware Engineer

Write, test and debug complex audio software for XMOS microcontrollers.
Write, test and debug optimization routines for audio processing for Linux System on Chips, using SIMD instructions (SSE / NEON).
Contribute to a large codebase for audio processing in C++ for Embedded Linux.
Analyze and design communication protocols between microcontrollers (SPI, I2S, I2C).
Debug mixed-signal PCB prototypes using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers and data collection tools.

MSc or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related fields.
Technical requirements:
- Significant experience writing audio software for XMOS microcontrollers
- Strong knowledge of embedded communication protocols (SPI, I2C, I2S)
- Experience in audio Codecs configuration and internals
- Being able to debug PCB prototypes using e.g. oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, etc.
- Experience in writing low-level code for x86 and ARM Cortex-A architectures using SIMD optimizations with SSE / NEON instructions
- Significant professional C++ experience
- Background in Digital Signal Processing
