In our new Section, Chassis Systems, ESC, we will be placing a strong focus on creating new functions for our chassis control systems in order to meet future challenges within electrification, autonomy and improved driveability.

For Chassis Systems, we are now looking for a function developer for systems that handle vehicle control. 

You will be part of the Steering Controls group of 8 engineers who together develop steering-related systems and functions. We are a group of people from various backgrounds who are hugely committed to steering systems development and vehicle functionality. We develop and set requirements for suppliers of control systems as well as develop our own software. 

The entire section will continue along the agile development path it has already begun and we have a very exciting and challenging time ahead of us. One of the key components for success is a constant pursuit of improvement of our work methodologies. 

Your duties
You will be responsible for the functionality in a steering servo system. Contact with system suppliers, together with cooperation with other groups within systems development takes place on a daily basis.

Your duties will include the necessity of verifying functionality for which requirements have already been established and of a continuation of work with upcoming needs for new functionality necessary for steering a vehicle in the absence of a driver. Verification of functionality occurs in vehicles as well as in the test rig.

Your profile
We are looking for someone possessing an MSc or BSc in engineering, or having equivalent work experience.You have previous experience with embedded systems, which includes testing and implementation in C, Matlab and Simulink. You will be fluent in both written and spoken Swedish and English.

Preference will be given to candidates having experience of powertrain control systems, vehicle testing and test planning.

You are be a driven and communicative person interested in learning more about how our vehicle systems operate and who has a desire to be involved in developing the functions of the future.

We also expect you to take responsibility and possess good interpersonal skills and an interest in working with agile methods. Furthermore, we would like to see applicants with a deep-seated interest in new technology and heavy vehicles.
