QA Test Specialist

We are looking for a driven and social QA professional (Test Engineer - Risk Management) with a focus on manual test or test automation, to join the QA organization in NASDAQ's Nordic technology center in Stockholm.

In the QA organization we are currently a hundred people supporting the technologies that drive Exchanges, Clearing Houses and Central Securities Depositories (CSD's) around the world. Examples of the growing customer base are financial institutions in Australia, Singapore, Turkey, Indonesia and Hong Kong.

This is an extraordinary opportunity to develop your personal, technical and leadership skills while at the same time gaining knowledge of the financial industry. You will be part of this by joining a highly qualified cross-functional scrum team consisting of Business Analysts, Software Developers and Test Engineers and will be responsible for taking new functions thru all steps in our QA process. We work in close cooperation with our customers and in your role you will support them in customer early testing and acceptance testing.

The role entails responsibilities such as:

* You will review requirements as well as design specifications in the scrum team and plan, execute, and analyze tests, trouble shoot errors, report on status and results, and recommend corrective measures.
* Analyze and evaluate the results from the automated test batches
* Be part of delivery projects to customers, both external and internal customers including occasional on-site work

* As a senior test engineer you are expected to be able to lead the work of other testers and take on the role as test manager when needed

Education and Professional Accomplishments

* Relevant University degree (e.g. Mathematics, Engineering or Computer Science)
* 5+ years of experience in software testing

Skills and Requirements

* MS Excel for mathematic calculation and data analyzing purpose
* Experience in SQL, XML and Linux
* Experience of doing QA for systems with/without graphical UI
* Experience or interest in Model Based Testing
* Excellent language skills in written and spoken English
* Strong Can-Do attitude and good team work skills
