As a Quality Assurance Engineer you will work embedded in a new Development squad with the mission to develop a new cloud-based mobile, tablet and web collaboration SaaS software. Your focus will be making sure the software delivered to the users has the highest possible quality, and that the testing processes and tools used for testing are continously improved.

Responsibilities

• Be part of planning the testing of new software currently being developed and be a strong voice for the quality of the software being delivered to the users.

• Participate in both UI and backend testing

• Write testcases and take an active part in developing and improving our own internal test processes and tools.

Required Qualifications

• You have experience with mobile, tablet, web and cloud software testing

• You have a passion for product quality

• You have a strong analytical mindset and like solving complex problems

• You have some experience working in an agile environment with methods such as SCRUM and/or Kanban

• You are fluent in English

• You are very computer literate with a natural curiosity for new technology and have experience working with OSX and Linux

Desired Qualifications

• You have experience with usability testing

The position will be based out of our office right in the centre of Uppsala, Sweden’s fourth largest municipality. Perhaps best known for its large 15th century university founded in 1477, the city also offers beautiful surroundings, a lively cultural scene and a quickly expanding high technology business sector. Commuter distance to Stockholm city is 40 minutes and 20 minutes to main airport Arlanda.
