About the job
The Web, Ecommerce & Digital department leads the operation and development of IKEA.com, creating an outstanding digital experience. The purpose of the function is to create and support an easy, intuitive digital experience across all channels that provides the many people with access to a seamless, modern and inspiring IKEA.

In the role as the Search Optimisation Specialist, you will manage all SEO activities from development to optimisation to reach visitation goals and increase visibility on all major search engines.

About the assignment
The Search Engine Optimisation Specialist will continuously act as expert counterpart towards key stakeholders to unleash the SEO potential across IKEA digital properties. You will provide input to development teams to ensure that SEO best practices are in place. You will also recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO key performance indicators.

Key assignment tasks are to:

• Implement on- and off-site SEO strategy across our digital touch points
• Perform ongoing keyword research, towards content optimisation
• Support the optimisation team with SEO inputs and guidance
• Execute on-site and off-site audits and drive related initiatives to implement recommendations.
• Secure SEO best practices across IKEA

As Search Engine Optimisation Specialist, you will report to the Search Engine Optimisation Leader at IKEA Group. The position is a full-time, permanent employment located in Malmö, Sweden.

About you
As an SEO Specialist you are an expert in content optimisation, have extensive knowledge of SEO specific tools, a passion for growth, and the solid understanding of SEO from a multilingual setup perspective, performance marketing, conversion and online customer acquisition at scale. These are key elements to support our ambition to become the world’s leading multichannel home furnishing retailer. Furthermore, we believe that you have the following experiences to succeed:

• Proven SEO on- and off site experience
• Able to sell ideas and concepts internally and can contextualize and communicate complex SEO issues for others
• Innovative in the digital area, eager to bring new conceptual ideas to IKEA
• Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO and SEM
• Proven experience, producing SEO insights and translating them into actions
• CMS, Analytics and SEO tools knowledge

We also see that you have the ability to work and perform in a fast moving environment with flexibility and simplicity. You should have excellent presentation skills and can drive an agenda but also facilitate a discussion in English. You’re a good communicator and you get inspired by working together with a variety of stakeholders.
