PLM Solution Architect

You will be responsible to define the PLM Technical Architecture, together with your PLM architect colleagues, supporting the business processes.
 
Job responsibilities:

• To define and maintain the PLM Technical Architecture and IT infrastructure in SKF related to PLM
• To drive best practice around end-to-end processes from development to manufacturing and sales
• To support the development of standard methodologies and best practices for the use of PLM and MCAD
• To contribute in projects as an expert on PLM architecture developing solutions matching SKF PLM architecture as well as business requirements
• To contribute in the development of SKF PLM strategy
• To define solutions that enables integration with the SKF ERP Environment in close cooperation with the ERP team
• To follow the latest trends in the industry, including the latest functionalities with respect to the PTC PLM tools and to translate this to new improvement proposals in the business

Job Requirements
• Mechanical/IT Engineering degree or similar with good knowledge of the industry
• Excellent knowledge of PLM concepts and 5 years’ experience within this role, preferably with experience of PTC Technologies
• Good knowledge of Web and Java Technologies and the latest trends in this area
• Good understanding of the common Product Developments and Manufacturing Processes in the industry
• Experience from defining business requirements and the translation into a solution, preferably in PLM or IT field
• Familiar with project management
• Very good communication skills with fluency in English, both verbally and in writing
