Software Engineer

Join us in building a complex big data SaaS system with a microservice backend, that juggles huge amounts of data per minute, runs it through machine learning, has strict performance requirements, and shows it in a modern frontend. As a newcomer to the team, you will be gently embraced by a mentor that will help you evolve into a rockstar software engineer, and build a system you will be proud of. Your current experience and knowledge of languages and platforms are much less important than your drive, desire, and ability to produce amazing code.

Our stuff is mostly developed in C#, ASP.NET, and MySQL, with some sprinkles of python, bash and other goodies, and lives in the Amazon Web Services cloud. We are a superagile team working in scrumban, with the goal of using the best tools possible and constantly improving.

What will you be doing?
• Develop a cutting-edge big data SaaS system with the best tools, processes, and colleagues in the business!
• Ship features that help our customers convert more wind and solar into renewable, clean energy for the future.
• Participate in the technical specification of features in roadmap together with the product owners.
• Support the continuous improvement of our development process.
• Participate actively in code reviews, and architecture meetings.

Skills & Requirements
• You have a relevant education, or proven professional experience
• A programmer with a burning desire to be great
• Independent, full of initiative, and solutionoriented
• Debugging champion
• Quick learner that enjoys new technologies and challenges
• Able to work and live in Sweden
• Comfortable communicating professionally in both Swedish and English

Extra pluses
• Interest in renewable energy
• Knowledge of C# (or similar OOP language such as C++, Java, etc.)
• Positive attitude
• Web, Internet, and SaaS experience
• Strong written communication skills
