This position is within Thermo Fisher Scientific's ImmunoDiagnostics Division (IDD), which has its HQ in Uppsala, Sweden and develops, manufactures, and markets complete blood test systems to support the clinical diagnosis and monitoring of allergy, asthma and autoimmune diseases. Thermo Fisher Scientific, a company who are passionate about improving the lives of patients with allergic and autoimmune diseases, are looking to hire a European Content Editor into the newly established Central European Marketing Team.

This new role will suit someone who has extensive website editing or Eloqua experience. The role will lead change, supporting all our local European marketing organisations in the launch of our new digital experience to Lab Professionals, Healthcare Professionals and Patients, as well facilitating in the distribution of all email campaigns across Europe. The Role:
- Lead (working with local language leads) the editing, curation and posting of content across three Adobe based external site targeted at a patients, HCPs and labs, in multiple languages, across Europe
- Facilitate the generation and execution of Eloqua email campaigns
- Liaise with the European Marketing Manager, the European SEO/Social Media Manager and country leads to ensure content is integrated/generated to develop a cohesive, seasonal, strategy for the publication of all content in a way that drives audience growth and engagement
- Work with the European SEO/Social Media Manager, and key agencies, to apply SEO initiatives and best practices to the content strategy to strengthen and optimise both website and keyword rankings
- Monitor campaigns for results and ROI
- Work with the Director European Marketing and the European Marketing Manager to define the marketing strategy and tactical plans that will drive growth for Europe
- Adhere to and enforce content approval and branding guidelines
- The position is an international (Europe) role and we estimate you will spend up to 25% of you time traveling.

Who are we looking for?

You have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject or equivalent experience, with experience from an international working environment. You should have knowledge of web standards, best practices, and usability, with excellent editing skills. To succeed in this role you have the ability to manage large numbers of initiatives and competing priorities.

It is an advantage if you have previous experience from Life Science and/or marketing. Other desirable skills are knowledges of Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Adobe Experience Strategist and preferably AEM 6.2 as well as Eloqua. Preferably you are multi-lingual, e.g. French, German, Spanish or Italian in addition to English.

Thermo Fisher Scientific is an international, matrix organisation so you should be comfortable working cross-functionally, managing a wide range of priorities and working in an ever-changing environment. This position is field-based and requires European travel of up to 25%.
