Academic Work is on behalf of our client Giesecke & Devrient looking for a Software Test Engineer to their Stockholm office.

Giesecke & Devrient is a global leader in Over-the-Air (OTA) management software designed to provide mobile network operators with an improved understanding of their subscribers and efficient management of the SIM cards, terminals, and mobile applications on their networks, such as AirOn Subscription Management. This product makes a remote switch of mobile subscriptions possible on a SIM card which is already deployed on the mobile device, as for example in a smart watch or a car. This simplifies the process of switching between mobile operators.

For this position, you will be working under Giesecke & Devrient’s research & development unit, which include 45 collegues divided in smaller scrum teams. Their scrum teams in the Stockholm office consist of developers, testers, product owners and product architects.

Academic Work is responsible for the recruitment process but the candidate that proceed will be employed directly by Giesecke & Devrient.

ARBETSUPPGIFTER
Your role as test engineer will consist of test case design, to perform component testing and integrate the tests in the test automation environment. Your expertise will also be needed in the development and maintenance of the test automation framework.

As a Test Engineer your competence will be highly requested in the team for in troubleshooting, problem solving and analysis. For the right candidate there will many opportunities to develop your career after your own goals and interests at G&D.

For example, you will:

* Perform unit testing in Java environment
* Develop automated test in Java

VI SÖKER DIG SOM
We are looking for you who have:
* University degree (minimum B.Sc.), in Computer Science or comparable working experience

* Experience of Java and JUnit testing e.g. school projects or work experience
* Basic knowledge in Linux and Shell script
* Fluent English in speaking and writing

It will be considered an additional qualification if you have:
* Knowledge of Docker or Cloud technology

* Experience or knowledge of tools like Git, Jenkins, SoapUI, JIRA
