Role:
Senior .NET developer.
Short project description:
A state of the art solution for one of the major airline companies on the market . Project consists of the different highly scalable web applications and backend systems developed by the 3rd party providers which include systems for flight search, booking and check-in, profile management, etc.
Work environment is international. Good level of English is required. German is a plus, but not mandatory.
Technical skills:
Overall experience in software development 8+ years
Experience in .NET stack +5
Strong experience in ASP.NET MVC and related frameworks (WebAPI/RESTfull, .NET Core, JS+HTML, WCF, EF, c#, AJAX etc)
Strong understanding and practical experience of using modern design patterns
Experience in using any of the unit test frameworks (e.g. NUnit, MS Test, xUnit etc)
Mocking frameworks (e.g. Moq, NSubstitute etc)
Experience in tools like TFS, Git, Jira, Confluence
Understanding of CI/CD concepts
Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle
A plus would be (not required)
Experience in database design and development (SQL Server, Oracle, Mongo DB)
Experience in using client side frameworks (jQuery, Angular )
Scrum master:
Be able to take over some of the scrum master duties
Soft skills:
Be able to lead a development stream in a small agile team
Oversee dependency in the project on a higher level and connect with other teams as needed
Be able to talk to solution architect – escalate problems, propose solutions etc
Provide technical guidelines for other team members
Willing to share your experience and knowledge
Be able to write technical documentation and guidelines
Other:
Great communication skills in English (upper intermediate)
German is a plus (but not mandatory)
