BID is an organization within Ericsson that wants to create a state of the art development environment that gives Ericsson a competitive advantage. We have teams spread internationally on different continents working with development. We are in a transition to component based architecture and cloud based deployment and we are in a contsant change towards leaner, agile and continuous everything development and operations (devops).

BID CI Engine has teams in Sweden, Hungary, Ukraine, China, India and Canada. Right now we are looking to recruit developers to work in our teams based in Linköping, Sweden. Our teams are cross-functional and self-organizing, utilizing Lean/Agile, Scrum/Kanban, Continuous Integratiion/Continuous Delivery methodologies.They have an end-to-end responisibility, from requirement creation, breakdown, prototyping, implementing, design and modeling, test automation, integration and troubleshooting all the way to supporting deployments within the develpment units around the world. The team is responsible for developing products and tools that will be used within CI&CD flows across Ericsson and in 4G/5G product development. One of the products developed is Eiffel. Eiffel and Ericsson developed open source product which is both a standard for machine-to-machine communication for integration flow activities and a collection of components that support and utilize this standard. It aims to provide interaction and collaboration in software production and enables automated and fully traceable end-to-end integration flows. An Eiffel Domain consists of continuous integration tools that ensure the latest builds of the building blocks in a Component-Based Architecture (CBA) are available to all development teams using these building blocks.

Responsibilities:

•You will work in an agile team that is responsible for developing high quality products, tools and services to be used in Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery/Deployment (CD) within PDUs across Ericsson.

•You will drive strategic technical leadership together with the other team members
•Perform continuous analysis and requirement handling.
•Perform trouble shooting and customer support
•Drive continuous improvements of products and processes
•Develop competence in your technical domain

Key Qualifications:

•Interest and experience in programming and scripting (Java, Python, C++ or other programming languages)
•The ability to write high-performance, maintainable code
•Hands-on experience with open source components used in CI/CD development, e.g. Tomcat, Jenkins, RabbitMq, MongoDb
•Strong ability to contribute in hands on work with systemization, coding, design, test activities and maintenance.
•Experience and interest in Linux, Cloud concepts & micro services' solutions
•Analytical and problem solving skills
•Good spoken and written English communication skills
•Is motivated to constantly gain new experiences (programming, testing, customer interaction, leadership and product systemization).
•Willingness to give support and share experiences with colleagues
•Creative & innovating
•Delivering results & meeting customer expectations
•Education: BSc or MSc level in Computer Science or the equivalent level of knowledge

Additional Requirements:

•Experience in developing tools used in Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery/Deployment (CD)
•Hands-on experience with developing CI/CD flows and component
