Senior Software Engineer

Do you truly love product creation and software development? Are you passionate about everything you do and make? Do you know from experience that whatever you don’t understand, you’ll have the ability to learn? Great! We are currently expanding our SW/HW team where we focus on creating amazing experiences for our clients. We tear products apart, hack them, connect them, hot glue and 3D print them. Once the client is all warm and fuzzy, we take the concept via design and development to mass production. For this we need you and your code writing skills!

About you

Are you a creative coder with a few languages under the hood? Are you familiar with machine learning and think it’s the sickest stuff right now? Do you think current computer vision is just scraping the surface as of now? Can you cook anything with nothing? Is your kitchen cabinets filled with more stuff from Aliexpress than ICA?

We are looking for a profile who can join our SW/HW team with a focus on SW - a profile who is hopelessly in love with GCC, C, IAR, SDK, BLE, RPI, HEX, ASCII, GDB, HAL, CAN but maybe also digs PCB, SMT, RFQ, DFM, EMC, DIY, BJT, FR4, RSSI, UART, SPI, FET, LDO, I2C.

Minimum qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering or or similar qualifications
• 10+ years of experience developing in C/C++, C# or Python
• Experience with C in embedded systems on ARM processors
• Knowledge around electronics. How to read a datasheet and extract what is needed for drivers
• Ability to troubleshoot when things don’t work as expected, and not afraid of using a solder iron
• Coolness under fire and perseverance. From time to time it will be hectic, we don’t hurt hardware

Some nice to haves are

• Know how to interpret EE schematics and PCB layouts
• Experience on how to test software properly
• DSP programming and experience with translating Matlab to code
• VHDL for FPGA design
• iOS and/or Android experience
