The Role
As Database Developer you will be working in a small group together with the Head of IT Systems as well as a fellow colleague focusing on DW solutions. You will take active part in the further development of the infrastructure to meet the business requirements in the best possible way.
Programming and loading the data warehouse for the purpose of increased flexibility related to data extraction in order to facilitate efficient and adequate analysis will form a central part of the work assignment. In addition, the Role will involve working with information retrieval from various suppliers around Europe as well as the development of reports to government agencies from multiple sources and systems.
In order to succeed in the Role we believe you have 3-5 years experience in a similar position, ideally with a background as a developer with an understanding of code, structure and logic.
We also believe that you
• have a good knowledge of SQL;
• have a good knowledge of databases, with emphasis on MSSQL;
• have experience in Management Studios and MSRS;
• are fluent in English, both written and spoken. Knowledge of French, German and/or Flemish is an advantage;
• have a university degree or equivalent work experience.
Experience from SAS and SPSS is considered an advantage, as well as a background in the banking and finance industry.
Within the scope of this role you will be in daily contact with colleagues and suppliers in Germany, the UK and France, and you can be required to travel when needed.
