Your tasks:
• Provide direct support to Quality team, focusing on VMware and containerized environment administration.
• Monitor, manage, and optimize the virtual and containerized environments without imposing on SLAs for all distributed teams.
• Troubleshoot application, server, and storage level problems
• Monitor and troubleshoot storage infrastructure, focusing on NetApp clustering technology
• Setup, configure, and manage monitoring software
• Review log files and other server monitoring data to diagnose incidents and performance degradation.
• Design, develop, and maintain scripts and other automation tools.

Education/training
Our roles requires a basic technical education, sometimes university level.

Experience
We require at least 3 years of relevant job experience for all rolls, mostly more.

Required experience for this roll:
• BS in Computer Science preferred or 3+ years in systems and/or storage administration.
• Windows and Linux administration
• relevant production environment experience with virtualization (VMware, automation management, upgrades, and templates).
• 3+ years relevant experience with monitoring tools – management and custom plugins
• Scripting
• Problem, incident and change management

Work language: English

Meriting
- Swedish
- Experience of PowerShell, Bash, Ruby, Python, Perl, C#.
- ITIL certification

The Consultant roll
As a consultant you may be placed at different customers. UCG will assist with extra training when needed. As a consultant we need you to be flexible and to easily adapt to a new environment.
