Developer MES (APRISO) at Scania

Your responsibility
As a developer within the MES area you will be part of the maintenance team for Scania’s MES concept ”EBBA”. MES (Manufacturing execution system) at Scania is the system that executes processes and orders in production and also the tool to secure product quality and maintenance of equipment.
 
Your main tasks will be data base development in SQL-server, T-SQL and Process builder – a development tool which enables systems development in different languages and to use components from the framework of the MES product. The user interface is built in Process builder and based on HTML. As a developer you will be involved in requirement handling, development, testing and release handling.
 
Scania has chosen the APRISO software for its MES platform and we will provide relevant training on the product in addition to your current developmental skills.
The MES platform also includes a .NET solution with various applications
 
 
Your profile
You have relevant education in IT from college or equivalent experience and a passion in modern system development. You need basic knowledge of database management (SQL Server) and T-SQL as well as web-based solutions such as MVC. We would like you to have experience from working with JavaScript, IIS, Ajax and more. Experience of work with development in an Agile context and methods like Scrum and / or Kanban are meritorious. 

You should have a positive attitude and be able to cooperate with the team. Your ability to take responsibility and be organised is very important, and you must be proficient in written and spoken in English.
 
The location
Scania headquarter is located less than 40 km south of Stockholm city. It is easily accessible by regional train, commuter train, bus or car. Scania's own bus line, Scania Job Express, goes from Stockholm city directly to Scania in Sodertalje.
