Linux System Administrator to an innovative company

Perido is recruiting a Linux Administrator to our client, a vibrant AD-tech company that is leading in the Nordics. Their core business is Big Data focusing on building better products based on incoming data. The position is placed at our clients’ office about 10 minutes out of central Stockholm.

In this role as Linux Administrator you will be part of building and maintaining the IT infrastructure, both on-premise and on public cloud providers. You will work in a small and agile team and were your decisions matter. Occasionally have 24/7 responsibilities that requires alert problem solving. Be able to handle stressful situations and perhaps describe yourself as an independent team player is beneficial.

This will be a learning experience and you will be a part of the journey to a hybrid cloud environment and helping to re-invention our old platform. Therefore, it is in need that you are a fast learner and have an excellent understanding of administering a Linux based infrastructure in a modern approach using DevOps toolsets. Good Bach skills and a decent understanding of scripting languages like Ruby, Python and Pearl. Basic knowledge in git, IRC, Virtualization, SQL skills is required.

In need of deeper experience with force 10 networking products (L3 Switches) since the company works with it. Almost everything our client build is to handle volume at a high frequency in a scalable approach and works in an automated way with configurations management and orchestration tools. The entire stack consists of Open source tools I vital that you believe in it and what to contribute in a flexible and un prestigious way.

Required qualifications
• 1-2 years working with system administration
• Excellent skills in Linux
• Server hardware skills
• Good script knowledge (primarily Bash)
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written in Swedish or English

Meritorious
• Basic Virtualization skills
• Basic SQL skills
• Understanding of Networking, IP, DNS and Internet

Contract type and hours
