Software Engineer for Electrified Cars

According to most experts and companies, the future of the automotive industry is electric cars. Volvo Cars aims to sell up to 1,000,000 electrified cars by 2025! We are now looking for a Software Engineer for Electrified Cars. You will be part of a team that is responsible for designing, developing, and deploying solutions for Continuous Integration and Configuration Management, facilitating a complete chain from a software change to a working car component.

Designing such solutions means working on many different aspects of software development. Successful applicants have the ability to both write high quality code and architect solutions on higher abstraction levels, combined with the ability to seamlessly communicate with colleagues and external stakeholders. Each team member is treated equally and is given a high level of responsibility and mandate to influence their everyday work.

Requirements
* Passionate about software development and its related principles. To you, software development is more than just writing code.
* Ability to learn new cutting-edge technologies and apply them in your everyday job.
* Comfortable to work and communicate closely in a team environment.
* Must have a personal drive towards solving problems and enhancing existing solutions.
* Be able to motivate, lead and encourage your colleagues.
* Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a similar field.
