Main responsibilities of the team

Building and maintaining large-scale web sites and web applications as well as creating and laying out their content. Making sure our web sites are always performing, whether it?s command line hacking, building new features, optimizing performance, tweaking the UI/UX, figuring out how to increase web conversion or tuning the SEO. Keeping up to date with the latest web technologies with an insatiable appetite for learning new things and improving existing ones, all in order to create the best web experience for the user.

Responsibilities

Shape and implement flawless designs with mobile-first, responsive functionality

Work with the design team to implement design guidelines for the web

Optimize web flows to be as effective as possible

Interface with other teams to incorporate their innovations and vice versa

Conduct design and code reviews

Deployment of code and cooperation with involved departments.

Making sure our web presence is accessible to the largest possible audience without any loss of performance

Requirements

Expert knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JS)

You are comfortable with scripting languages (PHP), databases and working with Unix-based systems

Ability to write well-abstracted, reusable code for UI components

Experience working with high-performance sites in a fast paced environment

Skills in building user interfaces and knowledge of best practices on user experience

Experience working with advanced conversion flows and optimizing payment funnels

Excellent spoken and written English

Pluses

You are familiar with Photoshop

Experience with tools such as puppet

A working knowledge of SQL

You love tracking and setting up funnels for the things you build, and using the data collected to verify the effectiveness of your changes
