Backend developer for music product

You will:
* Have responsibility for a development team dedicated to the development and deployment of the Cloud Services for our distribution system
* Interact with our management team and product designers to formalize requirements
* Design the Architecture of such system
* Implement the first iterations
* Work in close contact with our embedded development team

MIND Music Labs is a music tech startup working on a new generation of hardware/software technologies for embedded hardware devices for musical instruments.

We are looking for someone to help us to expand our cloud-based infrastructure and services, especially those related to software distribution. For this, we are looking for a senior developer that will have management responsibilities and will be in charge of creating the team and the architecture of our distribution backend.

Required Skills:
* Passionate about music and familiar with music production tools
* Proven experience in developing complex backend systems, using one or more suitable languages for the task (e.g. Python, C#, Java, Clojure, Node.JS, Ruby)
* Experience with AWS cloud services or similar solutions (Azure, Google Cloud)
* Strong Linux Background, especially wrt C/C++ build systems (CMake) and package management
* Comfortable with Agile project practices

Pluses:
* Experience in developing music-related products
* Developed highly-scalable backend systems
* Having managed a small/mid size development team
* Having worked with Yocto / OpenEmbedded
* Significant Python experience
* Familiar (from a user's perspective) with DAWs and audio plugins
* Familiar with music-related SW frameworks (e.g. JUCE)
