Solution Center MAS is a global team supporting Volvo Trucks, UD Trucks and Mack Trucks with sales solutions. We have thousands of users all over the globe. We both maintain the current application suites as well as work on the development of the next generation of solutions.

We are now looking for a senior Solution Architect to join our team and raise the team spirit even further.

Role description
The Solution Architect ensures the integrity of the architecture, reconciling the conflicting concerns of different stakeholders (parallel projects impacting the solution, maintenance concerns, continuous improvements topics – like performance, usability, reliability & maintainability), and showing the trade-offs made (as between security and performance, for example). He participates in the discovery and documentation of the business scenarios that are driving the solution, and also secures the quality of the solution’s documentation (main deliverables: integration map, information model, solution landscape, solution capability map, infrastructure map). The Solution Architect is working in close cooperation with the Solution Lead, Project Managers, Lead Architects, and other relevant business and IT roles. He drives the Application Software Architects & Developers from runtime & onetime organizations. Finally, he fosters innovation and encourages technical upgrades.

IM - Inquiry manager is a business tool to support truck dealers and salespersons during the sales process. Inquiry Manager handles Deal support, Non-deal support and Provisions for New Truck sales. IM gives the market company benefits such as automatic campaign handling, improved financial quality of the order book and improved control of the business. IM is a vital part of the TSP (Truck Sales Process suite of solutions). IM is a multi-brand solution in use globally as well as under roll-out on major markets like Japan and North America.
