Arbetsuppgifter:

Worktasks

In this role as a software engineer you will be responsible for the software part of one of the company’s volume products. The work includes two primary areas; product maintenance and development of new functions. You will be working with maintenance of the product and the related testing equipment. This also includes fixing bugs, developing new versions and functionality. Adapting and developing the test process of the product to make it easier and more efficient will also be part of this role as a software engineer. In terms of production matters you will mainly be working on new configurations which have not been produced before. In this context you will be responsible for identifying and preventing potential problems affecting the production. As you will be working cross functional, travels to Poland and China (sometimes with short notice) will be part of the role.

Profil:

Education, experience, and personal qualities

• Relevant technical education (within computer science/IT)
• Minimum two years’ work experience and good programming skills (C and embedded systems)
• Previous experience developing applications (PC/ Windows environment) is meritorious
• Good spoken and written communications skills in English
• You find it stimulating to work with people from different nationalities

For this role we are looking for excellent communication skills and a good ability to interact and network with people in different environments and contexts. As you will have a big responsibility for the software of the specific product, you need to be comfortable working independently in an expert function. You understand and appreciate the challenges of working in a fast-moving environment. To succeed in this role, you must be humble and view feedback as a key to improving results, both for you personally as well as on a company level.
