Group Internal Control and Assurance together with Epiroc IT are currently seeking a driven individual with a can-do attitude to be part of our future Epiroc organization. You will take part of developing the area of IT Security and Compliance, and will conduct various audits and assessments at a global scale. You will also drive the Data Analytics process as well as become the Program Manager for the Internal Audit Management System.
You will be part of Group Internal Control and Assurance, but also work with Epiroc IT Security and Compliance Team. These functions are responsible for the Internal Control Framework, Internal audits, Group-wide IT security related programs, such as IT Risk Management, IT Security Awareness, Security Operations, solutions and Cyber Security.
As an IT Security and Compliance Officer you will be driving IS/IT audits of the Epiroc IT environment to enforce IT policies, and you will also be measuring the compliance towards the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
This role is also the Program Manager of the Internal Audit Management System. Currently BWise is the Audit Management system used by Group Internal Control and Assurance, the IT Security and Compliance and ISO/SHEQ functions.
In this role you’re also responsible for Data Analytics in internal audits; maintaining scripts built, providing analyses to Team Leaders in internal audits and training internal auditors in using and analyzing data from Epiroc’s main ERP systems.
You will be reporting to the Head of Internal Control and Assurance, and work closely with the Global IT Security Manager of Epiroc IT. The role includes travelling (about 30 days/year).
The ideal candidate will have a blend of strong technical, communication, analytical and management skills. You need at least two-three years of experience working in the Group. You have a good understanding of how Epiroc conducts its business as well as of Group policies and guidelines as described in The Epiroc Way.
Specific requirements for this position include:
- Knowledge of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
- Strong understanding of IT applications and networks
- Be able to distinguish various level of risks and develop countermeasures against it
- Experience in IS/IT Auditing (from audit planning to execution and reporting)
- Experience in SQL and analyzing (big) sets of data
- Experience in BWise or any other Internal Audit Management System is a plus
Knowledge / Educational requirements
- University degree in Computer Science
- Industry certification such as CISA, CISM or CISSP
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to manage different projects simultaneously
- Hands-on experience is a big advantage
- Committed to stay on top of the technology
- Ability to work independently

We also expect you to be well structured, service minded and adaptable to change. You should also have strong leadership skills and be analytical.
Good interaction in internal audit teams and with Group companies is crucial for achieving high quality of internal audits. Good direct interaction with companies, divisions and Group Management is critical to succeed in this role.
As an internal auditor it is important to share expertise, promote leading practices and be innovative. In this role you can at times face challenging situations and questions so you should have integrity. Following and having knowledge of The Epiroc Way will contribute to succeeding in this role.
