Truecaller Engineering Internship - Stockholm

What we offer
During your internship you will join our engineering team and get the chance to work with cutting edge technologies, high-load systems and mobile application development. You will get direct experience in what it’s like to be part of the team of one of the most innovative and successful tech-companies in Sweden.  

You will as an Intern have ownership over your own projects (of course with the support from our dedicated mentors) and are encouraged to collaborate with the Truecaller engineering team and other interns to "get things done" in a successful way.

We're looking for interns who are curious, want to solve real problems and embrace the opportunity to work on a product that is making communication safe and efficient for hundreds of millions users all over the world.

The internship will be start in the beginning of June and will last for 2-3 months. We see this as a start of a potential long-term relationship with the possibility of part-time work and/or opportunities to do your master thesis here at Truecaller for the right person.

Requirements

- You are currently studying at a master program with a specialization in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar.
- Knowledge and some experience in a functional or object-oriented programming language. (some examples of what we currently are using here at Truecaller is Kotlin, Scala & Swift)
- You are eager to learn the latest technologies within mobile and backend development and are ready to do it with energy and a positive mindset.
- Strong analytical skills, eagerness to find innovative solutions to complex problems.
- You like to take initiatives and are driven to challenge your-self
- If you have experience writing or shipping software as part of internships, personal projects, coding competitions or research, it is a bonus
- You are fluent in English, verbal and written
