We?re looking for an outstanding test automation engineer who knows how to automate the testing of complex financial transactions to join our financial systems team. About the role:
Work with the System Architect & Developers to fully understand the existing and proposed changes to System design
Suggest changes to the system design to complement a test framework
Propose a strategy that supports complex business processes with frequent changes in requirements
Work with other Test Automation Engineers within Spotify to review and identify existing functionality which maybe be reused as part of the Financial Systems Test Automation solution (scheduling, reporting tools etc)
Implement a Financial Systems Test Automation Strategy based on Industry best practices
Create a test framework in tandem with ongoing development work
Implement tests based on QA test designs
Ensure that the test framework is scalable, easily maintainable and well documented
Provide training to QA on the use and maintenance of the test framework

The ideal candidate will:

? Have a sense of urgency in completing tasks and resolving issues in order to deliver quality solutions quickly with minimum risk.
? Require strong oral and written communication skills with proven ability to communicate and build relationships cross-functionally.

? Demonstrate a genuine interest in QA/Test Automation as a career.

Key skills
English speaker
5 years + development experience
Extensive programming experience in 1 or more languages
Knowledge of System Architecture
Keen interest in QA/Test automation
SQL Server / PostgreSQL experience
Experience of unit test frameworks
Experience of working with large data-sets
Experience of working with complex business logic

Really good to have:
Financial experience
ERP experience (especially NAV)
Knowledge of test frameworks and tools
Experience of Migration projects
Experience of working with Linux and Windows
Agile
TDD / ATDD experience
